Happy family.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope you were able to enjoy the holiday. Our family didn't have much planned. Eating some delicious food was my first priority. The second was getting a decent photo of the whole family for my parents' Christmas cards. Sounds fairly simple, right? Yeah. I wish.
I knew I could count on three things to go exactly as I had envisioned.
One. No one would want their photo taken. Two. It would be bitterly cold. Three. There would be a whole lot of complaining.
I, of course, was right. This was the first time using my camera's self-timer and my new tripod. Trying to shoot a photo with yourself in it really isn't all that fun. Hit timer. Run. Repeat. Needless to say, it took me a little while to get used to it all, which resulted in some pretty fabulous "blooper" shots. The end result wasn't perfect, but I'll take it. I guess I'll chalk it up to a learning experience!
Whether or not they look it in the photo, we are a happy family. And I'm thankful for that!
