Happy 1st Birthday, Jace!

A work day may drag by slowly. It probably even seems like it is taking forever to reach Friday. However, don't the months feel like they fly by? Where did May go? Slow down, June! I don't believe a year can be any more eventful than the first year of a baby's life. Parents go from caring for a tiny little infant to chasing around a one-year-old on the go. Bottles to birthday cake. Cooing to giggles. Swaddling to standing. Pretty amazing isn't it? I'm pretty sure that although the first year is exhausting, most parents will find themselves saying ... where did the year go?! It has been fun capturing photos our littlest friend, Jace, this past year. Now has come the time to celebrate his first birthday! We took some photos of Jace with his Hawkeye gear, his favorite books, some John Deere tractors and a special stuffed bear made from the shirt of his Grandpa Dave's. His mom and dad and brother Reid also joined in on all the fun. We capped the evening off with a cupcake for the birthday boy. Happy birthday, buddy!
