Baby L

On a very, very cold Saturday, I met up with Brad and Shannon for a maternity photo shoot. Luckily, I found a nice little spot with tall trees that blocked the nasty, frigid wind. The temp was still around a freezing 8 degrees, however! This was a drastically different setting than the first time I met Brad and Shannon, which happened to be in balmy Dominican Republic. They are friends of our friends Steve and Abby and were on their honeymoon. It was a bit of an ironic experience meeting them there of all places and made for a great story when we got back! I shot super fast so that these soon-to-be parents didn't have to suffer terribly long. Parents make an endless amount of sacrifices for their children, and Shannon and Brad already have gotten started by withstanding this cold weather to capture photographs of this special time in their lives. In a short few weeks, this family of three (including bulldog Winston!) will become a family of four. I have a feeling their little one will have beautiful blue eyes like his/her parents! Congratulations and best wishes, Shannon and Brad! Here's just a few photos from the day. Hope they were worth the cold!
